OnFutura is an educational platform and online event operated by MY ONLINE FAIR, S.L. with the purpose of connecting students with universities, higher education institutions, degree programmes and other educational opportunities.
2. Minimum age to participate in OnFutura
OnFutura is intended exclusively for users aged 14 or over.
Users under the age of 14 are not permitted to register for, create a profile on, or participate in OnFutura.
During registration, users may therefore be required to confirm that they are at least 14 years old.
If MY ONLINE FAIR, S.L. becomes aware that a user under the age of 14 has registered for OnFutura, the registration may be rejected or cancelled, access to the Platform may be suspended and the corresponding personal data may be deleted, except for information that must be retained to comply with applicable legal obligations or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Users are responsible for providing truthful information regarding their age.
Under Spanish data protection law, where processing is based on the consent of a minor, a person aged 14 or over can generally provide their own consent, except where another law requires the assistance of a parent or legal guardian. E. Personalising your OnFutura experience
To organise and personalise the universities, programmes, activities and educational content displayed to you according to the preferences and interests you have provided.
F. Connecting students and universities
Where permitted by the applicable legal basis and your choices or consents, to facilitate contact between you and participating universities in which you have demonstrated an interest.
G. Academic matching
Where you have selected the corresponding option or provided the required consent, to identify universities whose programmes may correspond to your academic interests and preferences.
H. Promotional communications
Where permitted by applicable law, to send information about other OnFutura services, participation options, future events and related educational opportunities.
5. Communications necessary for your participation in OnFutura
When you register for OnFutura, MY ONLINE FAIR, S.L. may use your contact information to send communications necessary for the organisation and provision of the event and services you have requested.
These communications may include:
registration confirmation;
account verification;
access information;
information about the opening of the event;
schedules and programmes;
webinar information;
reminders about activities;
changes to webinars, presentations or schedules;

8. Sharing your information with participating universities
OnFutura does not provide all participating universities with unrestricted access to the complete database of registered students.
Instead, where permitted by the applicable legal basis and by the choices or consents you have provided, your information may be selectively shared with participating universities according to your academic interests and your interactions within OnFutura.
This may include universities:
that you have expressly selected as being of interest to you;
from which you have requested information;
whose webinar, presentation or activity you have registered for;
whose webinar, presentation or activity you have accessed or attended;
with which you have otherwise interacted;
whose programmes correspond to academic interests and preferences you have selected, where you have authorised OnFutura to perform this matching and disclosure.
Registering for OnFutura does not mean that your personal information will automatically be distributed to every participating university.
Where consent is the appropriate legal basis for disclosure, OnFutura will request that consent through a separate and clear affirmative action.

Where disclosure to a participating university is permitted, the information provided will be limited to information reasonably relevant to the student's educational interest and the purpose of the interaction.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

country;
school or educational institution;
educational level;
expected graduation year;
degree or programme interests;
academic areas of interest;
study destinations and other relevant preferences;
the relevant interaction, webinar, presentation or activity demonstrating the student's interest.
The information disclosed will depend on the relevant functionality, the student's preferences and the consent or other applicable legal basis.
10. Academic matching with universities
OnFutura may offer students the possibility of being connected with universities whose programmes correspond to the academic preferences they have selected.
For example, if you indicate that you are interested in studying Medicine in Spain, OnFutura may identify participating universities offering relevant Medicine programmes in Spain.
If you choose to activate this functionality and provide the required consent, OnFutura may use your academic preferences to identify relevant participating universities and share the information necessary for those institutions to contact you about relevant study opportunities.
Your information will not be distributed indiscriminately to all universities simply because they offer a programme related to one of your interests.
The purpose of academic matching is to create relevant connections based on the preferences voluntarily provided by the student.
11. Subsequent processing by participating universities
Where your personal data is lawfully disclosed to a participating university and that university determines its own purposes and means for the subsequent use of that information, the university may act as an independent data controller.
In such circumstances, the participating university will be responsible for complying with the data protection obligations applicable to its own processing of your personal information.
This may include providing you with its own privacy information and informing you of how you can exercise your rights in relation to that institution.
The precise data protection role of a participating university may vary depending on the specific activity and the relationship between the university and OnFutura.
12. Promotional emails and other OnFutura services
In addition to communications necessary for the event, MY ONLINE FAIR, S.L. may offer users the possibility of receiving promotional information relating to OnFutura.

OnFutura is an international educational event and participating universities may be located both inside and outside the European Economic Area.
