These General Terms and Conditions govern registration, access to and participation in OnFutura, an online educational platform and event operated by:

Hereinafter, “OnFutura”, “we”, “us” or “the Platform”.
By registering for OnFutura, users confirm that they have read and accept these General Terms and Conditions and acknowledge that they have read the Privacy Policy.
2. Purpose of OnFutura
OnFutura is an educational platform and online event designed to connect students with universities, higher education institutions, degree programmes and other educational opportunities.
The Platform allows students to discover and interact with participating universities according to their academic interests and preferences.
Depending on the services available in each edition, students may:
create a personal account and academic profile;
indicate their academic interests and preferences;
discover universities and educational institutions;
explore degree programmes and study opportunities;
attend webinars, presentations and online activities;
indicate universities or programmes in which they are interested;
request information from participating universities;
receive recommendations based on their academic preferences;
be connected with universities that may correspond to their stated interests;
access other educational services and participation options offered by OnFutura.
3. Minimum age — 14 years
Participation in OnFutura is restricted to users aged 14 or over.
Users under the age of 14 are not permitted to register, create a profile or participate in OnFutura.
During registration, users may be required to confirm that they are at least 14 years old.
If OnFutura becomes aware that a registered user is under 14 years of age, the registration may be rejected or cancelled and the account may be blocked or deleted, subject to any data that must be retained to comply with applicable legal obligations.
By completing registration, the user confirms that they meet the minimum age requirement.
Users must provide truthful information regarding their age.
4. Registration
Registration is personal and must be completed using accurate, current and truthful information.
Users are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide is correct.
OnFutura may implement reasonable verification and security measures and may reject or suspend registrations that appear to be fraudulent, duplicated, abusive or based on false information.
Registration provides access to the services and activities included in the corresponding OnFutura edition.
Certain additional services, participation options or premium functionalities may be subject to separate conditions and, where applicable, payment.
5. Student profile
After registration, students may be invited to create or complete an academic profile.
The information requested may include:
name and contact details;
country;
school or educational institution;
current level of education;
expected year of graduation;
academic areas of interest;
preferred degrees or programmes;
preferred study destinations;
universities of interest;
other academic or educational preferences.
This information is intended to help OnFutura personalise the student's experience and connect students with educational opportunities that correspond to their interests.
Where a specific use of this information requires consent under applicable law, OnFutura will request the relevant consent.
6. Participating universities
Universities and other higher education institutions may participate in OnFutura by creating institutional profiles, presenting their programmes, organising webinars or presentations and interacting with students.
OnFutura acts as a platform facilitating connections between students and participating institutions.
OnFutura is not itself a university, admissions authority or educational institution and does not make admission decisions on behalf of participating universities.
7. Interaction with universities
A central purpose of OnFutura is to facilitate meaningful connections between students and universities.
Students may demonstrate an interest in a university or educational programme in different ways, including:
selecting a university as being of interest;
selecting a degree or academic field offered by that university;
requesting information;
registering for a university's webinar, presentation or activity;
accessing or attending a university's webinar, presentation or activity;
interacting with a university through the Platform;
choosing academic preferences that correspond to programmes offered by participating universities.
The processing and, where applicable, disclosure of student information resulting from these interactions will be governed by the OnFutura Privacy Policy and the choices and consents presented to the student.
8. Academic matching
Students may select academic preferences such as degrees, subjects, areas of study, countries, cities or other educational interests.
OnFutura may use these preferences to personalise the student's experience and identify participating universities and programmes that correspond to those preferences.
For example, if a student indicates an interest in studying Engineering in Spain, OnFutura may show or recommend participating institutions offering relevant programmes.
Where student information is to be disclosed to participating universities on the basis of such matching and consent is required, OnFutura will request the appropriate consent from the student.
9. Communications necessary for participation
By registering for OnFutura, users acknowledge that OnFutura may contact them when necessary to manage their registration, account and participation in the event.
These communications may include:
registration confirmations;
account and access information;
event opening information;
schedules and programmes;
webinar information;
reminders about activities;
changes to scheduled activities;
technical notifications;
security notifications;
information concerning services requested by the student;
other information necessary for participation in OnFutura.
These communications are considered service or operational communications and are distinct from optional promotional communications.
10. Promotional communications
OnFutura may also offer students other participation options, services, activities, events or educational opportunities.
Where required by applicable law, OnFutura will ask users separately whether they wish to receive promotional communications by email or other electronic means.
Such communications may concern, among other things:
additional OnFutura participation options;
premium or enhanced participation modalities;
future OnFutura events;
new OnFutura services;
educational activities and opportunities related to OnFutura.
Where consent is the applicable legal basis, users may withdraw it at any time.
Refusing promotional communications will not prevent a user from receiving communications that are necessary to provide the OnFutura service for which they have registered.
11. Information supplied by universities
Participating universities are responsible for the information they provide regarding their programmes, admissions requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, deadlines and other academic matters.
Students should verify important information directly with the relevant institution before making educational or financial decisions.
OnFutura does not guarantee admission to any university, degree programme, scholarship or other educational opportunity.
12. User obligations
Users must use OnFutura lawfully and responsibly.
Users must not provide deliberately false information, impersonate another person, interfere with the operation or security of the Platform, gain unauthorised access to other accounts, misuse information obtained through the Platform or use OnFutura for unlawful purposes.
OnFutura may suspend or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to protect the Platform, participating institutions or other users.
13. Availability
OnFutura will take reasonable measures to ensure the availability and proper operation of the Platform.
However, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical incidents, third-party infrastructure, telecommunications failures, security measures or circumstances beyond OnFutura's reasonable control.
14. Intellectual property
The OnFutura brand, name, visual identity, website, platform design and original content are owned by MY ONLINE FAIR, S.L. or used under appropriate licence and are protected by applicable intellectual and industrial property laws.
Content supplied by universities remains the property of the relevant institution or rights holder.
15. Personal data
Personal data will be processed in accordance with the OnFutura Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
Acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions does not replace any separate consent that may be required for a specific processing activity.
16. Modification of the service
OnFutura may modify functionalities, schedules, activities or technical aspects of the Platform where reasonably necessary.
Material changes affecting registered users will be communicated where appropriate.
17. Modification of these Terms
MY ONLINE FAIR, S.L. may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, applicable legislation or operational requirements.
The latest version will be available through the OnFutura website.
Where a change requires renewed acceptance or consent under applicable law, the appropriate mechanism will be provided.
18. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to mandatory rights that may apply to users under the legislation of their country of residence.
Any disputes will be submitted to the courts or authorities having jurisdiction under applicable law.

3. Minimum age
OnFutura is intended exclusively for users aged 14 or over.
Users under 14 years of age are not permitted to register for or participate in OnFutura.
The registration process may therefore require users to confirm that they are at least 14 years old.
If MY ONLINE FAIR, S.L. becomes aware that personal data has been provided by or relates to a user under 14 who has registered contrary to this requirement, OnFutura may reject or cancel the registration, restrict access to the Platform and delete the personal data concerned, except where retention is required to comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

To register the student, create and manage their account, authenticate access and enable participation in OnFutura.
B. Organisation of the event
To provide access to the event, universities, webinars, presentations and other activities.
C. Communications relating to participation
To communicate with students regarding their registration and participation in OnFutura.
D. Personalisation
To personalise the student's experience according to the academic preferences and interests they provide.
E. University interaction
To facilitate interaction between students and participating universities in which students demonstrate an interest.
F. Academic matching
Where applicable and subject to the appropriate legal basis, to identify universities or programmes that correspond to the preferences provided by the student.
G. Promotional communications
Where permitted by applicable law, to provide information about additional OnFutura services, participation modalities, future events and related educational opportunities.
6. Communications about the current OnFutura event
MY ONLINE FAIR, S.L. may use the student's email address to send communications necessary to manage the service and participation in the event.
These may include:
registration confirmation;
account verification;
login or access information;
event opening information;
schedules;
webinar reminders;
information concerning selected activities;
changes to presentations or webinars;
technical information;
security notifications;
information necessary to use the Platform;
responses to requests made by the student.
These communications are related to the provision of OnFutura and are distinct from optional advertising or promotional communications.
7. Promotional emails and other OnFutura opportunities
OnFutura may offer users the possibility of receiving information about other services and educational opportunities offered by MY ONLINE FAIR, S.L. under the OnFutura brand.
These communications may include information about:
other participation modalities;
enhanced or premium access options;
additional OnFutura services;
future editions of OnFutura;
new educational events;
other OnFutura educational opportunities related to the user's interests.

Students may voluntarily provide information about their academic interests and preferences.

OnFutura may process this information to personalise the Platform and identify educational content, universities and programmes relevant to the student.
The GDPR requires transparency about processing based on preferences and interests and, where profiling is involved, information about that processing and its consequences.
9. Interaction with universities and activities
The student's activity within OnFutura may provide information about their educational interests.
For example, OnFutura may take into account that a student:
has selected a particular university;
has requested information from that university;
has registered for one of its webinars;
has accessed or attended one of its webinars or presentations;
has interacted with its profile or activities;
has selected a degree or academic field offered by that institution.
This information may be used to facilitate relevant connections between students and participating universities, in accordance with the choices made by the student and the applicable legal basis.
10. Disclosure of information to participating universities
OnFutura does not provide every participating university with unrestricted access to the entire database of registered students.
Instead, where permitted by the applicable legal basis and the choices or consents provided by the student, information may be disclosed selectively to participating universities according to the student's interests and interactions.
This may include universities:
expressly selected by the student;
from which the student has requested information;
whose webinars, presentations or activities the student has registered for, accessed or attended;
with which the student has otherwise interacted;
offering degrees or areas of study corresponding to preferences selected by the student, where the student has authorised this matching and disclosure.
Accordingly, the student's declared academic preferences and activity within OnFutura may be used to determine which participating universities are relevant to that student.
Where consent is required for disclosure to participating universities, OnFutura will obtain that consent through an appropriate affirmative mechanism.
11. Information that may be provided to universities
Where disclosure is permitted, the information supplied will be limited to information reasonably relevant to the interaction or educational interest concerned.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
first and last name;
email address;
country;
school or educational institution;
educational level;
expected graduation year;
degrees or academic areas of interest;
study preferences;
universities or destinations of interest;
the activity, webinar or interaction demonstrating the student's interest.
The exact information disclosed may vary depending on the functionality and the student's choices.
12. Academic matching with universities
OnFutura may offer a functionality through which students can authorise OnFutura to connect them with participating universities whose programmes correspond to their academic preferences.
For example, a student interested in studying Medicine in Spain may be matched with participating universities offering relevant Medicine programmes in Spain.
Where the student activates or consents to this functionality, OnFutura may use the preferences supplied by the student to identify relevant institutions and may provide those selected universities with the student's relevant contact and academic information.
A student's information will not be distributed indiscriminately to every participating university simply because the student has registered for OnFutura.
13. Subsequent processing by universities
Where personal information is lawfully disclosed to a participating university and that university determines its own purposes and means for subsequent processing, that institution may act as an independent data controller.
In that situation, the university is responsible for complying with the data protection requirements applicable to its own processing, including providing the student with any information required by law.
The precise role of each university may vary depending on the particular activity and legal arrangement between OnFutura and the institution.
14. Legal bases for processing
Depending on the processing activity, MY ONLINE FAIR, S.L. may rely on:
performance of a contract or steps requested by the user prior to entering into a contractual relationship;
compliance with legal obligations;
legitimate interests, where applicable and after considering the rights and interests of users;
the user's consent where consent is required.
Where processing relies on consent, users may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.
